Important COVID-19 Information for SU Students

Dear SU Students,
 
As 91短视频 continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:

  • All members of the campus community are required to remain up to date with their vaccines, according to guidance from the , including getting the booster when

    • Students who do not get the booster when eligible and do not have an approved exemption, will lose access to campus beginning Friday, February 4. 
    • All students must upload their COVID-19 vaccination and booster information using the SU COVID-19 Vaccination Portal prior to the start of the spring semester. 
  • President Wight will hold a live briefing on Thursday, January 20, at 2 p.m. to provide information on spring semester operations and to answer questions. 
    • The briefing will be livestreamed at and on SU’s Facebook page. 
    • Please send questions in advance to StayInformed@salisbury.edu with “Briefing” in the subject line.
  • For students who receive an approved medical or religious exemption: 
    • Students with approved exemptions are required to test twice weekly (Tuesdays/Thursdays) in order to maintain access to campus. 
    • Students are required to sign-up for testing by Thursday, January 27, at midnight, visit to register.  
    • Quarantine remains required for all students who are not up to date with their vaccines who test positive or come in contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19.
  • These guidelines apply to students attending classes on SU’s main campus. Students attending classes at other locations should monitor communications from their regional center or satellite site and their program director.
  • SU’s focus continues to be the safety of our campus community and our mission, which is education. SU will continue to evaluate its safety protocols and joins other University System of Maryland (USM) institutions, including University of Maryland College Park, Towson University and University of Maryland Baltimore County in utilizing updated CDC guidance for vaccinations and boosters.
