NOAA Scientist Wrublewski Continues Futurism Series Feb. 26

SALISBURY, MD---National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) scientist Thomas Wrublewski continues 91短视频 University’s Spring Futurism Series with a lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 26, in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center. Wrublewski speaks on his experiences as a physical scientist with NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service and the U.S. Department of Commerce. He has worked with NOAA’s Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) and Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellites (POES) systems. As a liaison to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Wrublewski helped acquire NOAA’s Solar X-Ray Imager and GOES-N series spacecraft, has tested launch qualifications and has helped incorporate U.S. Air Force Space Test Program instruments into NOAA projects. The U.S. Department of Commerce has honored him with its Silver and Gold medals. The Office of Cultural Affairs and Museum Programs sponsors the lecture.
