'Learn With SU' Series Continues Through February 27
SALISBURY, MD---Learning doesn’t stop after high school or even after college. It lasts a lifetime.
Starting in February, 91短视频 invites Delmarva residents age 50 and over to embrace that philosophy through “Learn With SU,” a series of classes encompassing everything from local history to fitness to wine tasting. Classes include:
“Is There Still a South, and is Delmarva Part of It?”
Donald Whaley, history faculty in SU’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, speaks on historical views of the region as a southern state. Presentations are:
• Tuesday, February 20 – Ocean Pines Community Hall, Berlin, MD, 11 a.m.
• Wednesday, February 21 – Scarborough Student Leadership Center, SU campus, 10 a.m.
• Thursday, February 22 – Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce, Fenwick Island, DE, 9 a.m.
• Thursday, February 22 – CHEER Center, Ocean View, DE, 11 a.m.
“A New You in the New Year”
Dr. Dawn Chamberlin, SU field hockey coach, speaks on current health topics and steps to lead a healthier lifestyle in 2007. Presentations are:

• Wednesday, February 21 – Scarborough Student Leadership Center, SU Campus, 3 p.m.

“The Taste of Good Grapes”
Peggy Raley, proprietor of Nassau Valley Vineyard, leads a wine tasting and demonstrates the process used to make the libation at Delaware’s only winery. Admission is $5 per person. Presentations are:
