SALISBURY, MD---91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s next Enlightened Perspectives Lecture Series speaker examines “The Importance of the ADA and Where We Go From Here,” marking three decades of the groundbreaking Americans With Disabilities Act 6 p.m. Monday, October 12.
During the virtual event, SU alumnus Will Fried discusses the road to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) – which included key leaders such as activist Ed Roberts and legislator Judy Heumann – Section 504 and what the ADA means today. Signed into law by President George H. W.
