Mihaela Moscalius, English T.A., Works Accepted For Publication

SALISBURY, MD--Mihaela Moscaliuc, a teaching assistant in the Graduate Program in English at Salisbury State University, has had work accepted for publication by two journals, Mississippi Review and Kestrel. Both will publish her translations of Romanian of poets by Carmelia Leonte.
Moscaliuc, who received her M.A. in English literature from SSU in 1998, has also published translations (with Adam J. Sorkin) of poems by Ioanid Romanescu in City of Whispers and Dreams (Iasi: Center for Romanian Studies, 1998). Her article, "Translating Eminescu," appeared recently in Romanian Civilization, and she presented a paper on Romanian poet Nina Cassian at the Conference on Eastern European Studies in Seattle in 1997.
